Playing with Print

Prints are obviously very common in the fashion world, yet can be intimidating when you’re older. After all, you want to look your age -- not to mention effortless and chic. Our shop is filled with age-appropriate patterns and prints! Here are a couple of our favorites.

This Peach Love top is giving us major Shania Twain vibes, but it doesn’t have to be 1998 for you to rock the leopard print trend! Since she made the print famous some 20 years ago, leopard has become a timeless trend, here to stay. We love the tie detail at the bottom--it gives this edgy print a laid back vibe. Plus, you can pair it with anything; a skirt and tights, shorts in the summer, or a classic Principle Denim jean.

Up next, we have this feminine floral dress from Jack by BB Dakota. Although floral print can easily be classified as juvenile, the fact that this floral print looks almost hand-drawn makes it age-appropriate. The petals and stems have such dimension. Plus, the Peter Pan Collar is such a special little detail--preppy and chic. This dress would be perfect to wear year round; just add a leather jacket in the winter!
